If the invoice is addressed to an Institute/University you are exempted from the payment of VAT
 
  • If YOU ARE ITALIAN AND WORK FOR A  PUBLIC INSTITUTION (PhD, students, Researchrs, Post Doc, …)  you are exempted from the payment of VAT.
