Course |
Rheumatic disorders are multifactorial diseases with an important genetic component which affect both disease susceptibility and disease outcome. More recently, chronic inflammatory disorders (auto-inflammatory diseases) due to mutations in single genes that control the inflammatory process have been characterized. The course is intended to provide the clinician with the basis to understand the genetic component of rheumatic and auto-inflammatory diseases. This course is supported by the European Commission and is organized within the Health e-Child Project
