Public Understanding

EGF has been involved in several cultural initiatives related to music. The EGF fund raising strategy is based on the idea of a relationship between music and science. This idea led to the Festivals of Music and Genetics, organised for in May 2006 and in May 2007. The highlights of the Festival 2007 will be the "International Workshop on the Biology and Genetics of Music".
